Punk that has been hand picked only from Paper Birch trees, Hand cleaned free of dirt, leaves, bark, twigs and moss. Further cleaned in a rotating trommel for 1 hour. Burnt down in a large Stainless Steel burning container. After burning, the ash is hand sifted to remove large charcoal pieces that are reburned. The ash is allowed to cool for 1.5 days in Stainless Steel pots. After cooling the ash is placed into vibrating sifters that further separate pure white ash from perfect sized black bits and bits of remaining charcoal that are too big for selling.
The Punkash is then bagged in 1 oz. Baggies, all bags have a little MORE than 1 oz. Of ash and the weight of the bag is never added.
